We're all watching developments in London, obviously. The al-Qaeda statement claiming responsibility was apparently published in Arabic on al-Qal'ah, should anyone feel inclined to translate/comment.
Update - Wikimedia has a screenshot:
BBC has translated the statement.

Translation on BBC looks good.
They leave out the title, which is
"Secret Organization Group, Jihad Base (Qa'edet al-Jihaad) in Europe"
Else, BBC translation has it right.
Queer, the Cheerful (Dahouk) fighter bit.

Oops, I see in fact BBC does translate the title.

The BBC translation seems to mention Sura 47:
7. O ye who believe!
If ye will aid
(The cause of) God,
He will aid you,
and plant your feet firmly.
My translation is archaic (A. Yusuf Ali), but it appears to fit well enough. Couldn't tell you if there were errors in the Arabic.
Sura 47 is mostly about community organization and defense against external enemies. According to my edition, it dates to the time when Muslims were facing military action by Mecca.
PS - aljazeera.com is not the same company as aljazeera.net. The English version of the Al Jazeera sat network website is http://english.aljazeera.net

The citation, although cutting off the opening of the sentence, seems correct (as far as I can make out from the screen shot). Comparing it to the original, I don't see an error.
And yes, aljazeera.com is not al Jazeerah the TV station. Utterly unrelated.
this being said, Abu Aardvark correctly notes one should not take the idea of al-Qaedah as an organisation literally now.
